Clay began working in the fire protection industry and at Dunk Fire & Security in 2005. He is responsible for sprinkler systems design and job coordination, and is involved with alarm layout and design. His responsibilities include working closely with code enforcement agents on plan review and code compliance for all of Dunk Fire & Security's sprinkler system designs. Additionally, he works with architects and engineers to coordinate designs that are not only functional, but meet the needs and ideas of the owner.

Clay holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arkansas. He has achieved NICET certification in Automatic Sprinkler System Layout, and is pursuing higher level NICET certifications. Clay has also undertaken courses in the University of Maryland's Master of Fire Protection Engineering program.
